SNLs Netflix Parody Ad Could Easily Be Real!

Netflix introduces its new shows for 2019, including Saved by The Crown, a spin-off featuring Claire Foy.

Are you ever scrolling through what seems like a never-ending list of movies and shows on Netflix yet you still can’t pick anything to watch? SNL’s latest sketch is spot on when it comes to describing the content available on the streaming service.

Last week on SNL they released a fake commercial for Netflix. It describes their dream of having never-ending scroll where you never finish as new content is constantly being added.

It looks at a pitch meeting where they decide to do a spin-off of The Crown where they send Claire Foy to high school ‘Saved By The Crown’.

One line that hits home hard is “We still got movies! Thousand of them! 12 of which you wanna watch!”
