A Gay Cerebral Palsy Comedy Is Coming to Netflix

Jim Parson is set to make a new gay comedy on Netflix.

LGBT friendly shows have become a lot more popular on Netflix. Some of these include Sex Education, Grace & Frankie and Orange Is The New Black.

Now it has just been announced the Jim Parson from The Big Bang Theory is set to make Special. This is a comedy about a gay man with cerebral palsy. It is based on a memoir I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves by Will & Grace writer Ryan O’Connell. The Hollywood reporter said O’Connell will also star in the comedy.

The semi-autobiographical comedy series is set to premiere April 12th and is about “a gay man with mild cerebral palsy who decides to rewrite his identity as an accident victim and finally go after the life he wants.”

The cast will also include Jessica Hecht, Punam Patel, Marla Mindelle, Augustus Prew and Patrick Fabian.
