Ellen DeGeneres is returning to stand up after 15 years.
Ellen started her career using stand up comedy and moved from there to acting and eventually hosting one of the worlds biggest and most loved TV chat shows. It is watched by 3.6 million people daily.
The news was announced by Netflix on twitter.
Looks like it's been 15 years since you did a stand-up special, @TheEllenShow. How about one for Netflix?

Her last stand up special was Here and Now which was recorded at the Beacon Theatre in New York for HBO. It was nominated for two Primetime Emmys
Recent specials they have released include shows from Tracy Morgan, Amy Schumer and Louis CK.
