Grace and Mamrie talk nonsense, common sense and make jokes at their own expense all the while trying to provide you with 30+ minutes of your day you might not hate completely.
At the start of this year, Youtubers Grace and Mamrie had started a Youtube series called “This Might Get…” with a different topic per episode. Each episode was about 7 – 12 minutes and ran every weekday for seven months. Unfortunately, the show got cancelled a few weeks ago.
“This is a shock to us, our crew, and now to you guys that this is the end. But it is,” Helbig said. “Trust us, we tried to figure out every which way we could make this work,” she added, mentioning potential production changes like working with a smaller crew and dropping the number of cameras had been discussed. “We thought we’d have more time to figure it out. But it turns out internet time is real quick.” Ultimately though, “We’re really proud of everything that we did here,” she concluded. “We’re really proud of everyone that contributed and made the fun episodes that we still love very much.”
That won’t stop this pair though as they have just started a new weekly podcast called “This Might Get Weird“.
“We’re doing it! We, Grace and Mamrie, are FINALLY starting a podcast! Every Wednesday we’ll be sharing some common sense, complete nonsense and mostly jokes at our own dispense! Strap in!”
Listen to the trailer below:
Grace and Mamrie discuss Canine Religion and High Nature in the first full episode of their new podcast. They also discuss what they are watching on TV and choking on Werthers, their pets and Planet Earth.
They have admitted that they don’t know what is going to become of this podcast. It will be a half an hour and out every Wednesday.
