The Emma & Julie Show finally sees Ireland’s favourite female comedy duo and online sketch stars take to the stage to regale us with punchy one-liners, loads of gags, top shelf observational humour and killer delivery. Coming to a venue near you from October-December 2018

Julie Jay is a comic who has taken the comedy world by storm in recent months and already has many impressive accolades under her belt, including winning the  Forbidden Fruit Comedy Search 2017; as well as performing at Vodafone Comedy Festival 2017/2018; Electric Picnic 2018; All Together Now 2018; and reaching the regional finals of ‘Funny Women’ 2018.

One of the most exciting new voices on the Irish comedy scene, her on-stage warmth accompanied by a sizeable side dish of distinctly Irish self-deprecation. Wry wit, neurotic ponderings and clever joke-writing make her an act not to be missed.

Emma Doran is 0ne of Ireland’s most exciting emerging talents, Emma Doran is a comedian, blogger and self-proclaimed chancer. Her stand up and sketches have racked up hundreds of thousands of hits on some of the country’s most popular sites including Daily Edge, Mummypages, SHEmazing, Broadsheet, Breakingnews.ie, and Her.ie. Emma was also a regular on RTÉ’s Republic of Telly, and has appeared on the Today Show with Daithi and Maura to American TV Show Right This Minute.

Emma & Julie also present ‘Up To 90’ Podcast which is the latest new podcast from Headstuff and will be performing at this year’s Dublin Podcast Festival on October 12th at Liberty Hall.

The show covers anything and everything 90s: Manchester Utd merchandise, Mary Robinson, Michael Jackson, The Big Breakfast, Stephen Roche, Blur versus Oasis, Pammy and Tommy Lee’s home videos, Louise Woodward, Roddy Doyle, Monica Lewinsky and slut-shaming, Boris Yeltsin, MTV Select, infamous soccer kicks, Eurovision douze points showdowns and everything in between. As long as it happened during the decade of Fresh Prince and ‘going-out’ combat pants, these two gingerettes have got you covered. Guests on the show have included Paul Mc Grath, Seann Walsh, Seann Walsh Danny O’Reilly and Pamela Flood.
