Cat Laughs Pick: Jarlath Regan ft T.J Miller & Jack Gleeson

Kilkenny Cat Laughs have released their incredible line up and grintage have a few highlights

There is so many brilliant acts and shows happening on the long June Bank Holiday weekend in the south east of Ireland it’s hard to choose the best options . For all events at Ireland’s longest running comedy festival click here.

So much to see so little time. To help you make a choice the organsers have put together Craic Deal bundles. These are ticket packages put together by artistic director Dan and assistant Matt. They have carefully put together a series of choice gigs to suit all tastes and schedules with discounts! To check these out go here.

However if you are just going to pop by the festival or are just planning to go see one or two shows, be our guest. Each week coming up to the festival we are going to pick out a few shows that catch our eye and recommend for you to go see.

Today’s pick is An Irishman Abroad With Jarlath Regan.

Cat Laughs: An Irishman Abroad with Jarlath Regan

Jarlath Regan is an Irish comedian and podcaster known mostly for his cult hit podcast An Irishman Abroad.  Since he started the podcast Jarlath has interviewed some of our favourite Irish celebrities including Chris O’Dowd, Sir Terry Wogan, Ronan O’Gara, Boy George, Gabriel Byrne and Sharon Horgan.

For this Cat Laughs show he has arranged to interview two very impressive guests, Jack Gleeson and T.J Miller. If you are a Game Of Thrones fan then you are going to hate Jack Gleeson but I bet you’d love to see him in person and see what he has to say for himself?

T.J Miller has become huge in the world of comedy. He is an American actor, writer, producer and stand-up comedian. He stars in Silicon Valley or you may have seen him on the big screen last year in Deadpool or Office Christmas Party.

“Every single young person reading this should go download this podcast and listen to it every week for the rest of time.” – The Guardian

You may have seen Jarlath on TV3’s fun rugby show The Clubhouse and he may well pop up there as well on Tuesday April 18th at 10.30pm defending his top score in Heineken’s Clubhouse Challenge. He has also been in the news recently for heroically and successfully donating a kidney to his brother. You can read all about how he got on in the article below.
