Comedian Deirdre O’Kane is set to Dance With The Stars.
This is the perfect timing for Deirdre to participate in the show as her time doing voice-over work for TV3’s Gogglebox is ending in the coming weeks.
A DWTS insider told the Irish Sun: “You could hardly have Deirdre doing the voice-over on Gogglebox talking about Dancing With The Stars if she was on the show.”
The RTE’s Dancing With The Stars is kicking off in January so it’ll give the comedian time to rest over the Christmas and start the show with a bang.
The source revealed: “Deirdre O’Kane would be used to the cameras and is a star in her own right.”
RTE were very keen to have the Noble actress on the show as she has become a pro on the tv.

The insider said: “The crew on Dancing With The Stars are all hoping Deirdre signs up as she is very easy to work with and would lift everyone’s spirits.”
The Irish Sun previously announced that the other stars in the mix include legend Marty Morrissey, Conor McGregor’s sister Erin, Bridget and Eamon star Bernard O’Shea, Mrs. Brown’s Boys icon Brendan O’Carroll’s daughter Fiona and singer Nathan Carter’s brother Jake.
