WATCH: Louis Theroux’s Movie Banned?

carefu-now

It is being distributed in the UK by Altitude, the company behind Oscar-winning Amy Winehouse documentary Amy but as of yet there is no Irish distributor.

The Defamation Act of 2009 states that any “publication or utterance of blasphemous matter” against religion can be fined €25,000. Looks like no one in Ireland wants to take that risk.

Here are some clips that may be the reason why people love Louis and has made him one of the most recognisable documentary filmmakers in the world.

He has that deadpan style of comedy but he really isn’t trying to be funny as he finds himself in unique situations and how he deals with it at times is hilarious.

Louis Theroux works up a sweat with a group of professional wrestlers as he records a call-out to the wrestling world.

Louis Theroux finds it hard to believe a man who claims to have a gift for hypnotic dating.

He visits a training school in Compton that caters to people concerned about crime and looking to weaponize their dogs.

He raps on a radio show and faces some harsh criticism from the listeners

Louis agreed to a non-sex cameo in the gay porn film ‘Take a Peak’
