Video: Ireland’s Tara does Iceland’s Bjork

Before Icelandic soccer players captured our hearts and made the island of the north cool, the nation already had another great and very cool hero. This time a woman!

Bjork – previously singer with indie pioneers The Sugarcubes – paved the way for Iceland’s surge in creative and commercial talent into the 1990s and right to the present day.  Here one of Ireland’s best female comedy performers & actresses TARA FLYNN offers her tribute live in Dublin’s Vicar as part of RTE Two’s The Liffey Laugh.

And if you want to compare and get a blast of the real thing well then here is the brilliant Bjork performing on BBC’s Jools Holland Live.
