After 12 years The Big Bang Theory will be coming to an end.
Geeky comedy The Big Bang Theory has been on our screens since 2007. It has followed a group of physicists and sciences enthusiasts throughout the years for 11 seasons. At one point it was the most watched show on TV and the actors in it, some of the highest paid in the television world. The five original members of the cast include Jim Parsons, Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg. Newer members of the show are Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik.
Even with all this success CBS, Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre Productions have released a joint statement announcing that the upcoming 12th season will be it’s last.
“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons,” it read. “We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”

Johnny Galecki who plays one of the lead roles, Leonard on the show said: “The only way we’ve discussed wrapping the show is we’re all going to be very sad when that day comes,” he said. “I think at this point everyone is very comfortable with 12 seasons being a good time to go home and see our families.”
