Reveries: A Visual Comedy Album

Reveries is a visual comedy album by Matt Barats and Anthony Oberbeck.

This is a 46-minute piece that follows the two drifters across America. It has been described as ASMR for your eyes. Barats and Oberbeck narrate throughout the piece. It includes different stories, views and experiences they have had all in the style of a poetic spoken word.

“I went on a date with a girl to a bar. The bar was empty. There was a piano in the corner, and she sat down to play. For a minute or so, I thought she was playing a very complicated song but, soon, it dawned on me that she was just testing every note in random order. But, by then, it was too late. I had already started singing along, so I just had to go with it.”

To truly appreciate this piece you have to take the time to sit and watch the whole thing.
