Outrage As Brooklyn Nine-Nine Is Cancelled

The Fox comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been cancelled and fans are very shocked. 

The hit comedy aired on Fox for five seasons and it has just been announced that there will be no more seasons.

Parks and Recreation duo of Dan Goor and Michael Schur created the show. It stars Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher, and follows a team of detectives in the New York City Police Department.

The show also starred Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Joel McKinnon Miller and Dirk Blocker.

 

The popular series first aired in September 2013 and it’s ratings have been increasing as time went by. The show has earned two Golden Globes for Best TV Series – Comedy or Musical and Best Actor in a Comedy for Andy Samberg.

Even with all this it suffered to get a big enough audience and consistently had schedule shifts.

Co-star Melissa Fumero recently spoke on the show’s chances for renewal, saying“everybody feels like we’re not done. There’s more story to tell, there’s more fun stuff to do with this incredible ensemble of characters.”
