A while back Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones confirmed they will not be returning to the franchise.
Don’t fear though, Liam Neeson is coming to the rescue. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson had already been confirmed to star in the Men in Black movie spinoff. Now, the Northern Irish actor Liam Neeson will be joining the pair. Neeson will play the head of the United Kingdom branch of a secret organization which protects the Earth from intergalactic bad guys.
The new ‘MEN IN BLACK’ spin-off film will see Tessa Thompson’s Em try to prove herself by joining the London MIB and will be paired with Chris Hemworth’s Agent H. Tess Thompson will play Em, joining the London branch of “Men in Black”. Thompson will be teamed up with Hemsworth, who will play the former ace agent named H
The new “Men in Black” is also described as an “an ensemble piece than a two-hander and will be more global in scale.”
The rest of the cast includes Les Twins (Beyonce’s backup dancers), Kumail Nanjiani and Rafe Spall.
Filming has already started and the movie is set for release on May 17, 2019.
