What’s better than comedy? FREE COMEDY!!
The Bray Comedy Festival is starting this week and the line up is brilliant. While the shows are very affordable ( the dearest only €15) we can’t resist a freebie. Here is a list of the free shows that you can go see this week.

To close the festival in style for 2017, hosted by Karl Spain, The Wrap Party is the final show of the festival and welcomes Fred Cooke, Niamh Marron, Damian Clark, live podcast from What’s The Story (Winners of the Best Irish Podcast 2015 & 2016) and a special headline performance from the internationally renowned Paul Currie,which is guaranteed to be an unpredictable and memorable last hurrah for the 2017 Bray Comedy Festival.
The Wrap Party is in The Harbour Bar at 8.30pm.

Wednesday 22nd Feb – The Harbour Bar

An Evening With Bournville & Cadbury
Join Bray’s own Adam Burke and Ross Browne, star of RTE’sThe Fear, as their crime-fighting, alter-egos ‘Bournville and Cadbury’ as they launch Bray Comedy Festival with special guest Cornelius O’ Sullivan, 2015s ‘Best New Act’, Love/Hate star Patrick Murray and comedy sketch group Shifts.
Thursday 23rd Feb – The Harbour Bar
7.30pm – 9.30pm
Best New Act Competition
Join ten of Ireland’s most promising new faces as they battle it out to be the Best New Act of this year’s festival. Headlined by special guest magician to the stars, World Street Performing Champion Jack Wise.
Comedy At The Back Bar – The Porterhouse
The Porterhouse Bray will host its first live comedy show featuring Totally Wired (Vicar St), Ross Browne (The Fear),Tommy Nicholson, Emma Doran and more top Irish acts with live music and late bar after the show. Free admission from 9pm.
Friday 24th Feb – The Harbour Bar
8pm – 9pm
Live Comedy with Niamh Marron, Lisa Casey, internet sensation Farmer Michael and Therese Cahill with prizes and games centered around the theme of “Lovely Ladies”. Disclaimer: may involve male participation *wink, wink*.
Saturday 25th Feb – Meet at the Town Hall

Karl Spain’s Walking Tour Of Bray
See Bray like you’ve never seen it before … through the eyes of Karl Spain, one of the funniest acts in the country. Expect plenty of laughs and plenty of detours as Karl takes you on a walking tour of Bray, Co. Wicklow.
