Amy Schumer does Stranger Things on Netflix

Amy Schumer is the latest comedian to sign up for a Netflix special.

It was recorded in November at Colorado’s Bellco Theater.

“Very happy to be a part of the Netflix family for this special,” Schumer said in a statement. “Maybe now they will look at my ‘Stranger Things’ audition tape to play the demogorgon for Season 2.”

“As a comedian, actress, writer, director, producer and best-selling author, Amy Schumer is a boundless threat and a one-of-a-kind talent. We couldn’t be more excited that she’s making Netflix her home for her next stand-up comedy special,” Ted Sarandos, chief content officer of Netflix, said in a statement.

Other stand-up specials that are coming or are already available on Netflix include Chris Rock, Jen Kirkman and Dave Chapelle.

This is just another notch on Amy’s impressive comedy career. Her Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer” has been highly successful and has won 3 Primetime Emmys, being nominated for 12. Schumer  is best-selling author of her book  “The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo” which she released last year and her movie Trainwreck has gone on to make over $140 million worldwide.

2017 will bring her more movie roles. She is set to play Barbie in Sonys new live-action family comedy. She will also be on the big screen alongside Goldie Hawn in mother-daughter comedy snatched.
