Karl Spains Comedy KARLnival Line-Up To Kick Off 2019

A weekly comedy night, featuring the very best of Irish & international comedy talent hosted by the wonderful Karl Spain.

Tuesday nights in the Róisín Dubh mean Karl Spains Comedy KARLnival. It kicked off last Tuesday ( January 15th) but don’t worry, the lineup for the next two months of the Comedy KARLnival has just been announced.

Next Tuesday, January 22nd regular guest on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Hospital Radio DJ widely regarded as one of the funniest acts on the British Comedy Circuit, Ivan Brackenbury will be headlining the show.

Joining Ivan on the night are Johnny Graham and NUIG Comedy Soc’s Brossie.

January 29 brings you Canadian comedian Tony Law. You may recognise this man from Have I Got News For You and 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also performing is Robbie Bonham and Margaret McHugh.

Irish Comedian of the Year 2017, Steve Bennet will be headlining the KARLnival on February 5th. Tom O’Mahony (Damo & Ivor ) and Katelyn Galvin will be the support acts.

On February 12 Edwin Sammon, who you may recognize from Bridget & Eamon headlines the show and will be joined by NUIG Comedy Soc’s Sarah O’Gorman.

February 19th is a right treat as the king of the one-liners, Sean Hegarty headlines the show.  Also joining him is Amy Walsh and Diona Doherty, who you may know as Katya from Derry Girls.

To round up the 2 months of comedy American comedian Scott Capurro plays on February 26th. San Francisco Weekly called “stand-up in the very best possible sense – deadpan, ever-alert and hilarious”. Support is from The Irish Times’ Jim Elliott, and Dan Hendricks.
