Jarlath Regan is an Irish comedian, writer, and illustrator, as well as creator and host of the award-winning Irishman Abroad podcast.
Since the age of 24 he has made his living performing stand up across Ireland, the UK and the rest of the world including the Edinburgh, Montreal, Chicago, Melbourne, New Zealand and Dubai Comedy Festivals. In 2013 he moved to London to perform stand-up. Six months later, he started his Irishman Abroad podcast series with a long form, in-depth interview with Father Ted creator Graham Linehan. Since then his interviewees have included the likes of Hozier, Brian O’Driscoll, Chris O’Dowd, Sir Terry Wogan, Boy George, Glen Hansard and Dylan Moran.
The podcast is now listened to by more than one million people worldwide. Jarlath has staged live episodes of the podcast at the Dublin Film Festival, Dublin Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and Body & Soul, amongst other festivals. He has also done a residency at London’s Museum Of Comedy.
