An extra date has been announced for the Good Mourning Mrs Brown tour in the 3Arena.
It will be a matinee show on December 17th, doors 1pm, show 2pm, with the proceeds going towards three different charities. The charities that will benefit are Childline, St. Vincent de Paul and Peter McVerry Trust.
At the moment Mrs Brown is working on a highly successful chat show, All Round to Mrs Brown’s. It is simulcast on RTE One and BBC One every week and based in Mrs Brown’s house.
Last month Brendan O’Carroll made a surprise donation to RNLI during his show in Wales. He pledged €11,600 from his own pocket.
RNLI’s Martin Jones said: “We never expected Mrs Brown to help our volunteers in this way, and we are both thrilled and proud that the cast thought of us.
“The donation will give a real boost to the station to help fund a new lifeboat to continue saving lives at sea at Rhyl.”
He continued: “We could have included a few foul-mouthed quotes as is usual from Mrs. Brown, but this generosity has left everyone dumbstruck!”
Tickets for the extra Dublin show cost €30.50 and are on sales now.
