Get excited because the Après Match team return to play before their home crowd at Vicar Street. And due to demand an extra date has now been added for the 7th February to go along with their show on the 12th of February. We know February 2016 seems ages away but be warned – it’s only 2 months down the road!
Barry Murphy, Risteard Cooper and Gary Cooke are back and bring you Dunphy, Giles, Brady, Bono and Mary O’Rourke and a host of killer lines and comic moves. Could be the perfect Christmas present for any relatives who love comedy and football…
Tickets priced €28 (inc booking fee) go on sale this Thursday 3rd December at 9am through www.ticketmaster.ie and the usual outlets nationwide.
By the way, do you remember when Barry Murphy was a member of another trio? Back in the day Mr Trellis (Ardal O’Hanlon, Kevin Gildea and Barry Murphy) were the founding fathers of The Comedy Cellar. Ardal went on to star in shows like Father Ted, Barry Murphy in the aforementioned Après Match while Kevin Gildea features with Barry in Ireland Pictorial Weekly on Sunday nights on RTE One.
