Comedy Showhouse: Funny Girl

Women are doing it for themselves – the new queens of Irish Comedy

FRIDAY June 2nd – 6pm (€5) – Funny Girl – Project Arts Centre

What else would you be doing on a Friday evening. Stroll out of work and down to Temple Bar and listen to these women in comedy chat about all things comedy from writing to performing.

Special 6pm show. All great comedy starts with the script – so if you (male or female) have an ambition to write comedy then this the show is for you.

Host Katherine Lynch (Dancing with Stars / Wagon’s Den) explores the secrets and tips of writing comedy for stage, radio & screen with Stefanie Preissner (RTE’s Can’t Cope Won’t Cope); Brona C. Titley (Ch4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats) and Alison Spittle (stand up star & new RTE Two series).

Get tickets here.

NO REPRO FEE Comedy Showhouse is back live at the Project Arts Centre for a 6 night run from Monday May 31st to Saturday June 3rd. Produced by Sideline Productions and funded by the Broadcast Authority of Ireland, all the shows are recorded in front of a live audience in Dublin’s Temple Bar and broadcast during the summer on RTE Radio 1.
