Careful Now! Ted Fest is coming to Dublin

Ted Fest is coming to Dublin for the first time.

The festival which is usually held in Inishmore has moved to Dublin for its 12th year. It will take place across the city from 31 March to 2 April.

Saturday 31 March

World record attempt for the Largest Gathering of Characters From Father Ted.

Lovely Ladies Competition at the Cellar Bar on Merrion Street. ‘Dublin’s Lovely Lady’ will be judged upon the following categories: ironing a pair of trousers, making a cup of tea in 30 seconds, peeling a spud, balancing an egg on a spoon while “effortlessly sashaying” around traffic cones and rapping/singing/dancing a decade of the Rosary.

The Lovely Lady of 2018 will also receive a voucher for a lovely Thai meal with Niamh Connolly.

Sunday 1 April

Father Ted Quiz, in association with stand-up comedian and actor, Joe Rooney, AKA Father Damo, while also getting to experience some of the Funland attractions you might have missed, including “Freak Pointing”.
