Body & Soul Comedy Line-up

After great success the Vodafone Comedy Tent returns for it’s third time to Body&Soul.

It will showcase an eclectic mix of Irish and international comedy. The tent forms part of Vodafone’s Centre Stage music and comedy festival programme of activities for 2017 and guarantees to have you splitting your sides in the historic surrounds of Ballinlough Castle .The comedy tent will run on the Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 June.

Have a look at the line up below. I’m sure you’ll spot more than a few familiar faces.

If you’ve never really experienced live comedy then we advise you to go see the big names such as Al Porter, David O’Doherty and Joanne McNally.

20.00-21.00 Al Porter

The director of Body&Soul, Avril Stanley said “Vodafone have once again brought a diverse and exciting comedy line up that upends expectations and promises to ensure there’ll be laughter on the breeze at Ballinlough.”

If you’re looking for something a bit different than your typical stand up and want to win free stuff we recommend you go see Bingo Loco. This Frankenstein creation has transformed Bingo forever and is making its festival debut at the Vodafone Comedy Tent at Body&Soul this June. So far they’ve give away: a life boat, a cutout of Niall Horan, a double ended 18 inch dildo, a TV from the 90’s, an insanely huge plush horse, an electric car, blow up dolls, festival tickets, cold hard cash, tours and much more. They have rave rounds, conga lines, glowsticks, confetti cannons, CO2 cannons, lazer show, dancers, performers, rock the boat, cheeky bum slaps and everything they need to embarrass the hell out of a lucky few of you…and yes, there is also bingo and coco pops!

With bog birthdays, wasp faces and the enduring sexual power of Keanu Reeves, Hannah’s previous shows have been described as ‘disarming, creative and hilariously weird’.

*Please note that you are encouraged to bring along some food so as to somewhat legitimize the ‘brunch’ aspect of this title. We’ll try to take care of the comedy.
