The Annual Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas Special

Despite the reports of avoiding tax, Mrs. Brown’s Boys will be returning for two Christmas specials.

Earlier in the year, the BBC reported that 3 members of the cast had avoided paying tax. Patrick Houlihan (Dermot), Martin Delany (Trevor) and Fiona O’Carroll (Maria) took funds received from a production company owned by Brendan O’Carroll and transferred them overseas in Mauritius.

Houlihan told the Irish Times that he had not intended to avoid paying his taxes and he was just trying to control it “I had to Google tax avoidance to see what it meant”

The show is set to return for two episodes, themed around Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
