People always say that the Irish are happy folk but why?
According to a poll by One4all Ireland the 97% of us think that laughter is the best form of medicine.
Nearly half of the people surveyed claim that children make them laugh at least 10 times a day. Thats 31% saying that their children make them laugh regularly.
The Irish have their priorities right believing that (37%) believe your health is your wealth and that love (26%) and laughter (19%) are the most important ingredients for a happy life.
According to the research we think Dara O’Briain is our funniest comedian with 21% of the vote closely followed by Brendan O’Carroll with 18% and Tommy Tiernan with 17% of votes.
