Amanda Holden can’t take a joke from an 8-year-old?
Britain’s Got Talent is back with a bang and one of the main acts to stand out on the show last weekend was 8 year old Ned Woodman. For his audition he did a stand-up performance. During this he decided to make fun of each of the judges. Watch it below.
He kicked of his performance with the joke, “Why were people so excited by that talking dog on Britain’s Got Talent? Amanda Holden’s been on it for years.”.
Holden was not happy with this joke at all and “had words” with his parents. The jokes were written by Ned’s Dad Liam who is an award winning comedy writer. He writes for BBC sitcom Not Going Out.
Amanda has seen a lot during her time on BGT but found that the joke made at her expense was not appropriate for a child his age.
“I have got a sense of humour, but I think he should temper his act to his age,” she told The Sun.
“I had words with his parents on the day. I don’t think any parent would let their child say that.”
Alesha Dixon agreed and said she was “surprised” at the joke, adding: “What made him so shocking was it was this young person delivering quite adult jokes.”
