Movie Trailer: Rough Night With Scarlett Johansson

This is a film we cannot wait for.

From the same writers of Broad City Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs; which already means we are in for a treat. If that doesn’t get you excited lets look at the lady led cast. Rough Night is about five best friends who throw a hen party for bride to be Scarlett Johansson. Her girl gang includes some of the most hilarious women in comedy lately: Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, and Zoë Kravitz.

Synopsis: Five best friends from college (played by Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, and Zoë Kravitz) reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper. Amidst the craziness of trying to cover it up, they’re ultimately brought closer together when it matters most.

“It’s a movie about friendships,” Aniello, told BuzzFeed. “It was really more about honing in on our experience of having friendships from high school and college that have evolved and maybe gotten a little bit distant and what does it feel like when you reconnect with those people? Are people excited to be reunited? Are they resentful? What is that experience like?”

“It was beyond our wildest dreams in terms of how much chemistry they all had — it was off the charts,” Aniello said  “A lot of them already knew each other from socially or just working together in the past, so … you really felt like they had been friends forever.”

“Hopefully it will have people reflecting on their own lives and their own friendships … and relate to friendships that maybe should be worked on,” Aniello said.

“There’s so much in life that happens and sidetracks us from what is really important and I think having people you really care about and having people who mean a lot to you from all different stages of your life is really important and worth fighting for.”
