Girls, created and starring Lena Dunham returns for it’s sixth and final season.
The show is based in New York and is comic look at the the humiliations and triumphs of a group of girls in their mid twenties. Along with Dunham, Judd Apatow and Jenni Konner also executively produce it. The cast also includes Allison Williams as Marnie; Jemima Kirke as Jessa; Zosia Mamet as Shoshanna; Alex Karpovsky as Ray; Adam Driver as Adam; Andrew Rannells as Elijah; and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Desi.
Here’s what to expect from the new season:
- Whilst enjoying the success from ‘The Moth” Hannah get’s a new life changing assignment.
- Marnie tries to remain independent after her divorce.
- Jessa and Adam embark on a new creative project as a new couple.
- Shoshanna is becoming very successful at work but not so much in the friendship department.
In this final season the four girls have grown and change becoming closer to the women they always wanted to be.
The 10-episode final season of Girls premieres February 12 on HBO.
