Sir Ken Dodd To Present Comedy Award

Tonight the National Television Awards will take place live on ITV.

Our main focus of course is who will win best comedy and Sir Ken Dodd will be presenting it as ITV says “as recognition of his years of service on stage and for his contribution to national happiness”. This will be the first television appearance for the 89 year old in nearly three decades.  The comedian is known for his tickling stick and brilliant one-liners.

The nominees for Best Comedy are:  Benidorm, The Big Bang Theory, Mrs Brown’s Boys and Orange Is The New Black.

Does Mrs Brown’s Boys have what it takes to beat huge American shows such as The Big Bang Theory and OITNB?

TV – Why is Mrs. Brown’s Boys the No.1 Sitcom of the 21st Century?
