WATCH – TERRY WOGAN & ROBIN WILLIAMS

Yesterday (Sept 27th) in London a special memorial service was held to celebrate the life of Limerick born Terry Wogan who for 3 or 4 decades emerged as the most popular broadcaster in the UK .

We never forget here that this trail blazing Irish broadcaster loved nothing else more than having a laugh – and that could be on his chat show, hosting Blankety Blank or working behimd the cameras on the Eurovision Song Contest. Terry Wogan had funny bones and made it all seem so easy. Put him in studio with possibly the most talented comedy performer of his generation and you can expect TV gold. Sadly both Terry  and Robin Williams have now passed away. RIP.

Here is Sir Terry Wogan meeting Mr. Williams on his BBC chat show in 1988.

Watch out for more classic TV moments on grintage = grin & vintage
