After two successful pilots aired in Xmas 2013 & Paddy’s Day 2014, Don’t Quote Me! has been commissioned as a 6 part series for RTE Radio One.
Hosted by Perrier award winning comic; former BBC TV’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks team captain and all round Irish comedy legend SEAN HUGHES, RTE Radio 1’s hit comedy panel show is live on stage for a 3 night run from Monday February 1st.
Don’t Quote Me! (DQM) is a new home grown panel show format that explores and dissects the best quotes across a wide range of themes, personalities and subjects designed to spark banter, comic discussion and often ridiculous debate.

For the new series Sean is joined by the ever wonderful Andrew Maxwell, Limerick stand up star Karl Spain and award winning writer / broadcaster Fiona Looney. Across the series Fiona and Karl team up against Andrew who in every episode is joined by a special guest from the theme of the episode – e.g sport, politics, entertainment, business or history. Confirmed so far are AL PORTER & MAXINE JONES (Monday 1st Feb), MARTY MORRISSEY & Surprise guest (Tuesday 2nd Feb) and DIARMAID FERRITER & COLM O’REGAN (Wednesday 3rd Feb).
